support the future of the cass county fair

Unfortunately, we’re all feeling the impact of rising costs these days. From food supplies to entertainment, the dollar just doesn’t stretch as far as it used to. We are incredibly grateful for our loyal sponsors and donors who support the fair year after year, decade after decade.

Every dollar from our community goes right back into the fair. While fair-goers easily see the larger, more visible expenses like entertainers and events, there’s also a long list of behind-the-scenes necessities that keep our county fair running smoothly for the community to enjoy each summer.

When you support the county fair, your dollars help cover essential items such as livestock bedding; toilet paper and cleaning supplies for the week; trophies and awards; food and concession supplies; and general materials — ranging from wasp spray to random bolts. Your support also helps pay for utilities like electricity and water, insurance, exhibit judges, daytime and evening entertainment, advertising and promotions, repairs and maintenance in our food stands, trash service, portable restrooms, handwashing stations, signage… and much more.

Through sponsorships, donations, grants, and other support, our goal is always to see how we can reinvest into our fair, making it even better for the years ahead. That means new activities, additional entertainment, and more opportunities to create lasting memories — all while keeping the fair free for our loyal fair-goers, the community and our youth.

recent additions

or improvements

2024

We added a new sealant to the flooring in the main foodstand to make the surface safer and less slippery for the hundreds of volunteers who step into our kitchen every summer. Plus, it’s so much easier to clean!

2025:

We brought live music back to the fair after several years, featuring Steven Bankey & the Flatland Band. The band took the stage Friday night following the bull ride and our new fireworks show. Additional new attractions this year included wandering entertainment, an aerial stunt show, monster arm wrestling, and a semi exhibition class during the tractor pull.

Improvements included additions to the sound system and the purchase of new freestanding panels. We also added digital menu boards into the foodstand and added the option to use credit cards.
